Here is how I've got on with it so far:
I absolutely love the look of the Real Techniques brushes. There's something about them that looks really pretty and professional, and I love that-I won't buy tacky looking brushes!
As you can see, it's much less dense than some of the other Real Techniques brushes, like the Powder Brush (review will be coming soon on that one!) and this threw me a little, but it applies foundation beautifully, and leaves me with really healthy, almost airbrushed looking skin (the claims they make are true!)
I was concerned about shedding as this seemed to be an issue that cropped up in a lot of other reviews that I read, but I haven't experienced any of this, and although I haven't yet deep cleaned it, I don't think it will shed. It's also really nice and soft, which means it's lovely to use on the more sensitive parts of your face, especially as the stippling motion can sometimes irritate my skin (for some strange reason!)
As my mum put it, this brush fills in all the lumps and bumps, and I have found this very true! However, although it takes a little longer to apply my foundation in the morning, I'm not complaining!
I bought this brush for £11.99 from Boots, which for me is a little on the expensive side, but it really is worth every penny.
Here's some swatches of how it applies my foundation:
Overall, I'm really happy with this brush, and will be buying more from Real Techniques!
See you all next week!
