High End and High Street Beauty Haul!

Hey everyone, I'm back!
Today I made a sneaky trip to Selfridges and Superdrug and I've been very naughty online recently so I happened to drop a hella' lot of cash on some new purchases that I'm pretty damn excited about!

The Eylure Eyebrow Dye (£7.49 from Superdrug) was a repurchase as I regularly dye my eyebrows to stop them from becoming literally invisible *blonde probs*. This is the only dye I've ever gotten along with, and I love the new packaging!

The Revlon brush (£3.99 from Superdrug)  was to accompany my brand spanking new Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade (£15, Cult Beauty) and I am so so excited to try it as I've only read rave reviews so far!

The Naked 2 palette (£37, Selfridges) was my first ever Urban Decay purchase and after trying it for the first time, I can confirm that I am most definitely not disappointed!

The Laura Mercier Silk Créme foundation (£34, Selfridges) has been on my Wishlist for a veery long time, and the lovely lady at the Selfridges counter matched me perfectly, so I am well impressed.

My first ever MAC Lipstick *shock horror* in Creme Cup (£15, Selfridges) was yet again, not a disappointment! I love the colour (I think it may be my perfect nude!) and the cremesheen formula makes it so comfortable to wear, so top marks MAC.

Lastly, the Beauty UK Matte Bronzer in Dark (£4.99, Superdrug) is a surprising purchase, as I was originally looking for the Sleek FaceForm Kit, but Superdrug were out of stock so I went on the hunt for the perfect contouring bronzer, and I think I may have found it! It's a really nice cool toned brown, and it's really easy to contour with as it's not overly pigmented.

So there we go my lovelies! My (not so) sneaky collective haul! More detailed product reviews will be arriving soon so stay tuned.

Bye!

Rimmel Colour Rush Balm

So here I am again!

I picked this up when perusing the aisles of Boots as I really wanted to try one of the coloured balm pencils that have been floating around a lot recently (I know, I know, I'm a little late to the party on this one) and it just sort of found it's way into my basket (as things tend to do).

Long story short, I love it.

But for the slightly more in depth version of events, read on.

I picked mine up in the shade 100 Give Me A Cuddle *awh* and I really like it. It's a gorgeous pale pink and it makes me look healthy rather than washed out.

What I really love about this pencil is that the formula is a little harder than some others which means I have a bit more control of the colour payoff, as although sheer, it can be built up to a pretty bright colour. Also, the shape of the pencil (as shown in the swatches above) is great as I can use the tip to shape my lips and the flat side to fill them in.

I also love the concept of having the balm in a pencil as it means I can chuck it in my handbag without worrying whether it'll break and I can apply it without a mirror on the train without it going all over my face!

I did have a little issue with it at first, as my natural lip colour is quite red so I found that the balm ended up looking a sort of raspberry colour. However, I got around this with a quick dab of foundation on my lips to give a clean base for the colour and then applied the balm, which really helped it to shine.

This has definitely become my go-to everyday lip product as it's so comfortable to wear and a beautiful colour! I'll definitely be buying some more of these!

Would you try this?
